Laurel Tincher

Laurel is a Trainee in the KonMari Method® and the founder of Living Edit. She lives in Kona, Hawaii, and works with clients locally and in virtual sessions around the world.

In today’s fast-paced, consumer-driven world, it’s easy to become disconnected from our surroundings and our belongings.

After years of renting homes, Laurel realized that despite feeling fulfilled in her career and grateful for family, friends, and good health, she still lacked a sense of peace. Her house didn’t feel like a true home. She had possessions, but she didn’t feel a sense of belonging.

That same disconnection extended to her finances. Debt and disorganization left her feeling uncertain rather than empowered. Determined to change, she created a simple, mindful system to track, plan, and grow. Within months, she was debt-free and experiencing greater financial confidence. That framework continues to help her grow her net worth and find ease in her relationship with money, a process she now shares with clients seeking clarity and freedom through financial organizing.

When Laurel read The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo, the KonMari Method® deeply resonated with her. After decluttering her own home, she immediately felt her mindset and day-to-day life shift toward calm and joy.

With a master’s degree in Sustainability and a lifelong passion for mindful, eco-conscious living, Laurel believes that organizing isn’t simply about tidying up, it’s about creating a deeper connection with what we choose to keep, how we live, and the planet we share.

Organizing helped her reclaim her space and transform it into something personal, beautiful, and grounded. Today, she helps others do the same, whether through financial clarity, thoughtful home styling, or curating meaningful objects that tell their story. Her philosophy is simple: our environments should reflect who we truly are and support the lives we want to live.

Her mission: to help others turn their house into a home, and their home into a place of joy, clarity, and belonging.
